Element Dental Lab-Full Arch workflow Case Submission Instructions
Thank you for working with us on your full arch Impiant cases. Obtaining the right information from your office will allow us to do a better job and minimize extra patient appointments. We’ve included records checklists for the different services we offer.
Preliminary Conversion PMMA Prosthetic: (Day of surgery conversion archy:
Desired Tooth shade
Photos of the patient, natural smile, full exaggerated smile, profile smile, short video showing speaking and function (i.e ask patient to say “EEEEEE”, count 33, 34, 35, or 55,56,57) Maxillary model or scan with good vestibule extensions, capture frenums, and the palate Mandibular model or scan with good extensions and the retromolar pad area (ridge behind the lower molars), and lingual flange
A bite record or bite scan in the desired bite (usually centric relation (CR) where the TMJ is fully
seated) (ask patient to touch tongue to soft palate border and then bite, or bite on gauze for 3-5 minutes to deprogram. If there are no posterior stops, capture stable bite of soft tissue ridge to ridge)
Preliminary PMMA Tryin: (After healing) Before proceeding to a final arch, we strongly recommend doing a try-in to confirm esthetics.
function and patient satisfaction. We digitally design and 3D print these in PMMA so they can be tried in and worn by the patient for a few weeks. If the design is satisfactory, we can proceed to final. If not, we recommend a redesign with an additional PMMA try-in.

Maxillary model or scan of the soft tissue with the arch removed.
Implant position scans with scan bodies or model with verified implant analogs Mandibular model or scan with good extensions and the retromolar pad area (ridge behind the lower molars)
A bite record or bite scan in the desired bite with the conversion arch in place (usually centric relation (CR) where the TMJ is fully seated)
Additional PMMA Tryin: For additional try-ins, we will need the following records:

Maxillary model or scan with existing tryin in place and good extensions and the palate Maxillary model or scan of the soft tissue with the arch removed (can be reused from first tryin if tissue hasn’t changed, clinician’s discretion)
Implant position scans with scan bodies or model with verified implant analogs (can be reused from first tryin records if everything is fitting passively with the first tryin)
Mandibular model or scan with good extensions and the retromolar pad area ridge behind the lower molars) -can be reused if the bite mount hasn’t changed A bite record or bite scan in the desired bite with the existing tryin arch in place
